Episode #21 - Live Show At Baba's Lounge

Ok, we are ending off 2010 with a real treat. Thee Radio Show got asked to do an all vinyl night at Baba's Lounge in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This night couldn't have been better: dancing dads, super babes, ripping tunes, and infinite drinks to be had. Hands down one of the best nights of 2010. Thanks to everyone who came out, especially to J Vapour and Erin for being the coolest. The whole night is posted below, almost 4 hours I believe. With jigged sound, at the beginning, record skips when someone jumped on the dj booth, terrible fades, and fleetwood mac's rhiannon played twice somehow. Its far from perfect but it was a hell of time.

Episode #20 - Wet Ribbons/Thee Radio Split Show

What a fitting way to celebrate Thee Radio Show's 20th episode with a triumphant split show with Wet Ribbons, in our homeland, Charlottetown Prince Edward Island. Not only that but we had a surprisingly clever concept for this one too. We each picked 2 songs from the last 5 decades, including the mysterious 2000s since there are only days left. So turn it up, grab a drink, and listen to one of the best radio shows we've ever done.

Thee Radio Show makes a triumphant return with an episode featuring the best of Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, 1965–1968 compilation. Originally released as a double LP in 1972 and then expanded to a 4 CD boxset by Rhino in 1998. We sift through pure gold to bring you only the brightest nuggets to feature on this episode. Not a show to miss and you might learn something too. With hits featuring: The Lollipop Shoppe, The Human Beinz, The Seeds, and The Brogues. Thee Radio Show is back with episode 15. In a controlled, somewhat sober environment. An episode you do not want to miss. What other online radio show delivers: Lee Hazlewood, Turbonegro, Burning Love, and Neil Diamond in the same hour? Probably a few but still this is pretty good.

Thee Radio Show did a split with the Wet Ribbons podcast which is featured on Wet Ribbons episode #17. The set is a best of bands that are playing NXNE in Toronto. Even though the fest just finished these were the tunes we here at Thee Radio Show were most excited about. But its pretty ripping check it out.
